Another very late update

Apologies to you all , as it has been a while since I posted what's going on under the stairs. Needless to say I have been overly busy. I work three days with my amazing boss and friend 'The Cake Fairy fife' in her beautiful, vintage tearoom in Kirkcaldy and I am back at my other job Blues and Browns but in the shop for two days. So I am now full time and still have my sewing machine going full tilt when I get home. So far I have created a purple cat, a beautiful zombie, bride and groom and a 'merida'. Doesn't sound like much I know but the bride and groom took me over a month and the mermaid is having her tail decorated with individual sequins which are being hand sewn and are a nightmare. Not to mention the three commissions I am working on alongside the two jobs and nightmare mermaid. So yeah, absence from here is sort of understandable but not excusable with regards to showing off the new makes.
OH and...or should I say AND a few people have cleared out their fabric stashes and passed on the goods to me so I will have an abundance of creations to show off as soon as I get the commission desk cleared, which might take me a while. Another reason why I should not be given so much free rein with peoples orders, I spend so much time designing and changing tiny, minor, wouldn't have noticed details on the drawings because I could have left it out on the doll. So I have a cat, a bride and a witch but not a witchy witch.

SO....apart from that not much else has been happening, I have started doing one fayre a month which is usually a craft market in a shopping centre or (and this has inspired me) Ratho's very own indoor climbing arena. Yes I have taken up climbing and I have to say it is amazing but enough about that. I also have my very first fayre in Dundee!!! I will update with the dates of these events very shortly.
I am even considering taking on small alterations but we will see, I have very little time as it is but am giving this a trial run with thanks to my neighbour.

I am also doing a very exclusive range for the tearoom so keep an eye out for these guys and am going to speak to Bunty of Bunty's Celebrations to see if she would like an exclusive range as well.
