Adam Smith Theatre Craft Fair

24/3/2013

What can I say? It was amazing, I was between two tortures though, a cupcake stand and a jam and marmalade one. Two of my most favourite things lol. Met loads of lovely people today and got another commission in as well. Happy days, I have to let my inner goth out on this one too so this could get very interesting.
Domino (one of three Chinchillas) just fell off his perch again...what a fright I got he's fine a wee shake of the head and back to sleep. Need to find someone who makes Chinny hammocks so we can use it as safety net for the wee might.
The Cake Fairy (Fife) dropped by today and picked up her dolly. So proud of that commission and she adores her. Seeing people so happy with what I make makes it all worth while.
Was doing a fair bit of advertising today on my stall. One for Anita Peggie's business Rustic-simplicity, they gave me my beautiful owl business card holder which I am still in awe of, and Blues and Browns of 21-22 South Street Perth who I work for three days a week. Both business don't need advertising as their creations speak volumes, but it is nice to do something in return for them being so very kind to me.
I never got to walk around the stalls which was a shame, my stomach was playing up again last night so I was suffering from the after effects of the painkillers and other tablets I have to take. Thank fully my mum was there and she went for a wander around and came back with a pile of business cards which I will get once she has located everyone on Facebook.
Rambling on a bit now so I better be off. Need to do a bit of online fabric shopping from my supplier for the new commission that is in.

HALF PRICE COMMISSIONS!!!

Yep. You read that right. Until the 30th April 2013 all commission prices for the cloth dolls are only £25.00. Interested?? Then pop over to my Facebook page, give it a 'like' and then message me with your specifications too and I will contact you. Easy.
Also on another note the Pint-Size Pixies have been added to the 'design a dolly' page so pop over and have a wee look. Remember if you live local or can pick up from an event I am attending then you save the £2.00 on postage, if you can't pick it up I can even drop it off for you!!
Craft fayre tomorrow so best be off to sort out my stuff. Oh and that pretty dolly up there, some people from Fife may recognize her as she is the 'Cake Fairy's' logo. One of the commissions I got in and I have to say it was great fun bringing her to life from a wee character on her logo.

If you require any more information, go to the contact me page and fill out the form. I will include postage in the prices :0)
The dolls pictured above are for sale under the offer...please excuse the Chinchillas in the background (they are NOT for sale)

Second offer is on my Facebook page - www.Facebook.com/prettydarnperfect
I am offering half price commissions on the cloth dolls only (usually £50.00) in order to claim this offer you need to comment 'sold' on the post. You need to move quick though as there is only TWO spaces left.  I will include postage in this offer too.

Yes I am feeling very generous but it is due to all the love and support from my friends, family, customers and likers. It is about time I gave something back to show my gratitude.

Take care and grab these offers while you can :0)

Bye Bye Belle

2/3/2013

The Craft fair today was brilliant. Loads of beautiful stalls and wonderful stall holders. Had a mini browse as wasn't feeling too great, which is a shame.
The lovely lady Belle went to a new home today which is brilliant. I know a lot of people were interested in Belle but unfortunately you have to be quick because once they are gone they are sadly gone.
On another note it was the début of the first two 'Pint-sized pixies'. After seeing them on the stall today, these two will be for a little more tweaking. It's amazing what a change of scenery can make you realise about your work as well. Last night I thought they were finished but looking at them today they were missing something. So will spend this week having a wee twiddle to get them perfect. Especially as the very first one Ruby will be heading off to her new home soon and she is going no where unless I am happy with her...or it will bug me relentlessly.
Next craft fair is Anstruther and I cannot wait, I will have an awesome dinner as well at the best wee chip shop ever.
Enough ramblings I am putting my feet up tonight and organising other fairs and then tackling the task of tidying the sewing room tomorrow...after work.
